Here is another marvellous pastel landscape painting by Annabel Greenhalgh. The Preseli hills, spanning Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion in south west Wales, are an idyllic megalithic homeland. The landscape painting 'Standing Stones' depicts a group of these mythic sentinels, whose presence haunts the landscape. Blue stone from the Preseli hills was used in the construction of Stonehenge.
