Zurich Log Cabin
The Zurich log cabins by Solid are made from 28mm interlocking logs and produce an imposing, large cabin that could be suitable for many purposes. The Zurich log cabins are supplied as standard with double, glazed doors and two opening windows. 90 cm porch area, this is not included in the dimensions given. This large log cabin has endless uses, whether its a summer house or garden storage building is bound to create a striking garden feature.
This cabin has an optional floor and floor kit which consists of four pressure treated 'L' shaped (mitred corner) lengths which when laid, create what we call the footprint, the cabin itself is constructed on this. The footprint is pressure treated so is guaranteed against rot and wood eating insects for 10 years.
The floor joists are 2 inch square and are also pressure treated these lay from front to back inside the cabin and 16mm tongue and grooved boards are laid from left to right, secured with nails.
Some cutting may be required as on certain models floor provided are larger than the cabin. Lastly, the small skirting board provided should be fixed.
