All Grange pressure impregnated products (such as posts) are guaranteed for a minimum of 15 years against rot. This guarantee also applies to non-pressure impregnated products (such as panels and trellis) that are isolated from the ground by a timber or concrete gravel board. It is important to remember that timber is a natural product and is therefore going to be subject to weathering and movement. Sometimes small splits occur in timber when drying (known as shakes) and warping can also occur if the timber dries too quickly. This will usually return to normal when humidity rises. This is simply nature at work and therefore should not be considered a fault.
